Sierra College Gets Prestigious Ranking

Some major recognition for Sierra College, which has a campus in Nevada County. It’s been ranked among the Top 150 community colleges in the country by the Aspen Institute, an international nonprofit think tank and research organization. There are around 2400 community college systems in the U.S. Sierra College Public Information Officer, Sue Michaels, says they submit data each year regarding the promotion of new ideas in education…

The Top 10 finalists will be announced in May of next year. The Institute will then visit each community college campus system before naming the grand prize winner in the spring of 2019. Michaels says the winner also gets $1 million…
