Sierra College Jazz Night, Saturday, May 11

The Sierra College Music Department is proud to present Jazz Night on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at 7:30pm in Dietrich Theatre on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.

Enjoy an evening of swing and contemporary jazz and popular music with the Sierra College Jazz Voices and Jazz Band, directed by Greg McLaughlin, and the Evening Vocal Jazz Ensembles, directed by Sarah McQueen-Cunningham, plus special guests. Songs to be performed include “Emily,” by Johnny Mercer and Johnny Mandel, “Little Sunflower,” by Freddie Hubbard, and Sting’s “Murder by Numbers.”

The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin, CA. Admission for this concert is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department. There is a $3 parking fee on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at machines located within the campus parking lot.
