Sierra College Presentation on Bees

Sierra Science Series at Sierra College Nevada County Campus presents Bee Keeper and Bee Expert Randy Oliver in a lecture tomorrow evening.

Oliver has become a renowned authority and researcher of honey bee biology and practical beekeeping methods. He and his two sons manage about 1,000 colonies for migratory pollination, and produce honey.

Oliver will talk about Colony Collapse disorder and a virus that has hurt the bee population.

Oliver will also talk about what you can do to attract bees to your property.

the presentation on Bees is Tuesday evening, October 13th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the Multipurpose Center, Building N-12 on the Sierra College, Grass Valley campus. The presentation is free and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
