For the first time since the new President of Sierra College came on board and with the promise of increased funding to Community Colleges placed in the state budget, Sierra College has taken a shot at creating a new 20 year master plan for school development. Sierra College President, Willy Duncan, says the initial focus will be on expanding science facilities.

Most of the draft plan focuses on the Rocklin Campus, but that does not mean revisions will not include Nevada County.

President Duncan says that the planning team reviewed planning assumptions from the previous plan and then modified them to meet current and projected needs. Duncan plans to revisit the document on a yearly basis as time progresses.
