Sierra College Talk Takes a Look at Burma

That’s Sierra College Professor Carol Cox, who’ll talk Tuesday (Sept. 11) at the Sierra College campus in Grass Valley about her January trip to Burma.
The “new crossroads of Asia” is a country so compelling that Cox hopes people attending the talk leave with this plan.

Economic and political changes will alter Burma, Professor Cox says. The country, called one of the last frontiers on the continent, is located between China and India.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the free talk in the multipurpose center at the Nevada County campus.
