Sierra Nevada Innovation Challenge Seeks Entries

Six minutes…that’s how long entrepreneurs with new business ideas or products will get to pitch their product to a panel of judges at the Sierra Nevada Innovation Challenge June 21st in Chico.   Participants will have direct access to industry experts, funders and media who will be in attendance. Organizer and Managing Director of Innovate Northstate, Jon Gregory says businesses will compete in five categories: clean Tech and Environmental, Health Care and Medical, sustainable Agriculture and Food, Web and IT, and Manufacturing and High Tech.

Gregory says there’s an incredible level of innovation that occurs in the non metro areas of California in particular the north state from Grass Valley to Redding.

The entry deadline has been extended.   There’s room for 40 finalists and they had 6 slots left as of Thursday afternoon.  Submissions will be reviewed and you must be invited by Gregory to compete.  Details are on the web site:
