Sierra Snowpack Also Drops Below Average

Another report showing our snowpack dropping. The Department of Water Resources says the Northern Sierra snowpack has dropped by 31 points in the last month to 89-percent of average. Rain is in the forecast for parts of Thursday through Sunday. The last snowpack survey in early April is the best indicator of our water supply for the rest of the year and will determine whether there will be any further easing of conservation mandates.
