Sierra Stages Opens A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Sierra Stages is opening their 5th season this weekend with a Shakespeare Play, which is a new direction for the community theatre company.  Midsummer Night’s Dream also introduces a new Director, Jac Royce  who is new to Nevada County and is a Shakespeare Fanatic.

Royce  says she is very impressed with the local theatrical productions and the audiences who come out to see them.

Sierra Stages  Producer Peter Mason says the set for Midsummer Nights Dream is one of the most magical they have created at the Nevada Theater and the lighting is very fun.

Sierra Stages Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream opens this Thursday evening and runs through March 23rd at the Nevada Theatre in Nevada City.
