Skiing Death at Homewood Resort

A skiing related death occurred yesterday at Homewood Ski Resort on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Placer County Sheriff Information Officer Dina Erwin says the young woman was skiing with her fiancee when they became separated.

Yesenia Guadalupe Garcia-Ramirez, most recently of San Jose CA, was pronounced dead after resort staff and emergency medical personnel were unable to revive the young skier. The accident occurred around 11:30 AM on February 13.
