“Sleeping” Driver Arrested

It was not a accident;  apparently the driver just decided to park his van in the brush. CHP Public Information Officer Greg Tassone says CHP officers and Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported accident on McCourtney Road at Indian Springs around midnight, Tuesday. When Officers arrived they found a 1996 Ford van pulled into the brush. Officer Tassone says the 42 year old man from Sparks Nevada was found passed out behind the wheel.

The driver was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was also found to be driving on a suspended drivers license.
