Slick Roads Cause Numerous Accidents

Along with the summer rain over the last two days came a number of traffic collisions. California Highway PatrolĀ  Officer Marc Morrison reports that most of the collisions were caused by wet and slick pavement.

The first rain after a dry spell always causes oil that had worked its way into the pavement to rise to the surface making it slippery.
There were no major injuries as a result of the accidents.
