Tassone says the highway was expected to be closed for at least another hour, or perhaps longer. A Cal Trans crew was called in to try and clear it. It occurred on the other side of the canyon. Tassone says the recent rain is a likely factor…

Tassone says Cal Trans has been patrolling the area since the weekend, because of the instability in the area.
