Slight Drop In Nevada County’s Jobless Rate

The biggest job drop was in Mining, Logging, and Construction, at 90, which is also a seasonal sector. Overall, civilian employment in Nevada County increased by only 10 jobs in December, but there were were 40 fewer unemployed, among the civilian labor force of over 45,000. Meanwhile, California’s rate also fell a-tenth of a point, to 5.2%, although payrolls only grew by 3700 jobs, compared to just 12,900 in November.
