Slip Leads to Slam

A slippery brake pedal may have contributed to an unfortunate accident….and as a result….
A vacant building in the Fowler Center may now have a drive thru were one had not existed before yesterday. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Steve Johnson says a Grass Valley man driving a 1993 Ford pickup crashed into the front of a vacant business next to Save Mart Tuesday afternoon. The driver said his foot slipped off the brake.

The Sergeant says it was very fortunate no one was on the side walk or in the business. The pickup was embedded several feet into the vacant building. The driver did not suffer any serious injures.
