Begining Sunday State Route 49 from Pingree Road to Cornette Way: Motorists can expect various north and southbound lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.   Motorists are also advised to reduce speed and be alert for modified lane and intersection configurations.  A contractor is scheduled for miscellaneous construction work.State Highway 49. The prject is part of the the $29 million Highway 49/La Barr Meadows Project that will widen State Route 49 to four lanes between Little Valley Road and Norambagua Way, just south of Grass Valley. The project includes a signalized intersection at La Barr Meadows Road, widening of shoulders, right- turn pockets and new sound walls. Completion is expected by fall 2012.
