Small Fire Extinguished By Locals

A small vegetation fire out in the Brunswick Y area off 174 was handled without incident just after 11:00 AM Tuesday. Jeff Fuentes with Emergency Dispatch says that units responded from the Peardale Chicago Park Fire District.

Units assisted with cleanup of the 10 foot by 20 ft area that had been quickly attended to by area residents.
