Small Fire Near South Yuba River State Park

While local agencies were having difficulty finding the blaze, a helicopter out of Red Bluff was on its way back from the Alta area saw the smoke, and was able to dump water on it and dispatch ground crews to the area…

The fire was contained to about a quarter of an acre. The cause is not yet known.
