A small brush fire in a fairly remote area of Nevada County, near the Placer County line. CalFire Communications Operator Steve Bradley says the call came in around 12:30 this afternoon of a blaze near Perimeter Road and White Oak Drive…

There are some homes in that area, but Bradley says no structures were threatened. The cause is under investigation.
