SNMH Community Cancer Center Offers Free Skin Cancer Screening

Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital will be a little busier than usual this Saturday as they are offering two free events for community members. One event is a free bone health and osteoporosis event the second event is a free community skin cancer screening sponsored by the Community Cancer Center. Hospital Spokesperson Brandy Kolmer says the skin cancer screenings are from 9 until noon.

According to the American Cancer Society, skin cancer is the most common of all cancers.

The Center is dedicated to providing quality cancer treatment,and preventing cancer through education and screening programs.
No appointments are necessary and screenings will be provided on a first come first served basis. The Cancer Center is located in the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Outpatient Center, Building 3, Lower Level.  For more information, please contact (530) 274-6872.
