SNMH Responds to Reno Hospital Shooting

Following a tragic shooting in a Reno hospital Tuesday afternoon, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital administrators want to assure Nevada County residents that the hospital has been stepping up its security measures. The hospital has also focused on securing entrances and exits to the hospital.

The administration has also set up regularly scheduled disaster management drills. There is also a subcommittee working with law enforcement to support mental health patients.

Plass and the rest of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital administration continue to work on a complete safety response system with patient,  staff, and visitor safety the number one priority.
