Snowpack Woes for NID

The most recent snowpack measurements do not look good for Nevada Irrigation District customers. At the lowest elevation snow is measured, Bowman Reservoir at 5650 ft above sea level, there was no snow at all. In the snow pack that is available, water content is only at 16% of normal. Water storage for NID is currently above average, however, that level will begin dropping with limited snowpack available to refill reservoirs.
