Social Thief Steals from Store

A man accused of stealing from a local business was well known to many of the employees. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Joe Matteoni says Tuesday afternoon a man entered the JC Penny store in Grass Valley. The man was trying on clothes and talking with several clerks. He placed all the items in a bag and fled.

The Police are asking anyone with information about Douglas McDuff to contact the department at 265-7880. The Sergeant said the suspect had gone to high school with many of the clerks in the store.
