South County Arrest for Drugs and Weapons Charges

An Auburn man arrested in the South County for drugs and weapons. The sequence of events began Saturday around 11:00 PM when a deputy driving in the area of Rodeo Flat Road and Scooter Bug Lane ran a registration for a vehicle that appeared to be up-to-date but ended up being expired for some period of time. The officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Donald Vanhardenberg, 29 of Auburn.

A records search discovered Vanhardenberg is an ex-felon. A further search of Vanhardenberg also turned up drug related items.

Donald Vanhardenberg charged with Felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a taser, presenting false vehicle registration, driving on a suspended license, and possession of drugs.
