A disturbance in the south county this morning was originally reported as shots fired by some neighbors who live on Table Meadows Rd. off of Combie Rd. Nevada County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Tripp says shortly after they got the call, two cars were noticed in the area.
After a short investigation it was determined that Russell Teffeteller age 33 had taken his girlfriends vehicle without permission a few days ago, and this morning he returned to her residence and confronted the new boyfriend and his ex girlfriend.
Teffeteller was arrested for stealing his girlfriends vehicle which is a felony, but Lt. Tripp says no additional charges were filed as the boyfriend did not want to press charges for the damage Teffeteller had done to his vehicle with the hammer.
