South Yuba Canal Issue

Late yesterday afternoon P G and E advised the Nevada Irrigation District that  the South Yuba Canal had a failure and as a result they were not pumping water from Lake Spaulding to Scotts Flat Reservoir.
Nevada Irrigation District Assistant General Manager Tim Crough says as a result NID is asking water customers in Western Nevada County to conserve water both treated and ditch water.
