The Nevada Union Miners scored their first points of the season in their home opener, but it wasn’t enough for the visitors from Sparks, Nevada. Senior Dawson Fay had both N-U touchdowns on the ground–one for 26 years, and a scintillating scamper full of twists and turns for 35 yards. The Miners stay home to face Napa next week–a team they narrowly beat on the road last year. Napa, like Nevada Union, is also off to an 0-2 start.
