Sparks Flying at Sierra College on Saturday

Sparks will be flying at Sierra College on Saturday. The American Welding Society Sierra College Student Chapter is hosting the Sierra College Weld Expo ’13. Welding Department Chairperson Bill Wenzel, say its a full day of activities.

One of the highlights of the Expo is the unveiling of the new Sierra College Mobile Welding Training Center.

Expo ’13 attendees can experience metal working from blacksmithing to state-of-the-art welding technology. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience virtual welding.

There are a number of scheduled events as well as all day activities…Virtual & Robotic Welding, Blacksmith Demonstrations, welding and cutting products, plasma cutting, and a Car Show and a P G and E demonstration*
