Callender says speakers talk for about half an hour and then take questions. And last year the Fairgrounds Foundation provided an added incentive to attend. Any student who attends 5 of the 6 events can apply for one of the two Foundation scholarships now offered at the end of the school year, worth $3,000 and $1500. The series runs monthly through May, with the exception of December, starting at 6:30pm.
