Speeding Leads to Warrant Arrests

A trio of people headed east bound on Highway 80 going through Truckee were pulled over this morning for speeding while pulling a trailer. Upon talking to the driver and others in the vehicle it was unclear why the group was heading through Truckee. CHP officers ran a check on the individuals. According to CHP officer Peter Mann, a suspect Jonathan Johnson of Grass Valley, showed up in the system.

Johnson had warrants for carrying a concealed dirk/dagger; possession of controlled substance paraphernalia; and petty theft.
