Spring Hill Pharmacy Incident Escalated To Fight

A fight at the Spring Hill Pharmacy on Catherine Lane in Grass Valley prompted a response from four area law enforcement agencies this afternoon (Tuesday). Grass Valley Police Captain Rex Marks says a 9-1-1 call was received around 2pm reporting two men were causing a disturbance and a knife and gun were involved.

21 year-old Jayson Rose of Grass Valley allegedly pulled the knife on 42 year-old Glenn Smith from Oregon. Both were arrested and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Marks says it only took about 8 minutes after the call to get the suspects in custody. Business resumed at the pharmacy in about 25 minutes.
