A hip-hop concert at a Grass Valley venue ended with a fight and two individuals incurring knife wounds. However, police are still sorting through the details to decipher what exactly happened. The group, Deltron 3030, was performing at the Center for the Arts and were wrapping up there show when chaos broke out on the dance floor. Grass Valley Lt. Alex Gammelgard says first calls for law enforcement and medical personnel came in around 11:30 PM.
Gammelgard says officers did locate the man outside of the venue.
However, after questioning the suspect, it was not yet clear what had actually occurred on the dance floor.
It is possible the knife was used in self-defense rather than as an attack weapon.
The two injured subjects were treated by medical personnel and one was transported to a trauma center.
Lt. Gammelgard asks anyone who witnessed the event to contact Grass Valley police.
