The Three Forks Bakery and Brewing company is coming soon to Nevada City and they are using a new age funding model to do it.  Shana Maziarz is the Baker in the business and David Cowie is the Brewer. They plan to set up in the Commercial Street Annex  of the Alpha Building that’s been vacant for so long at the foot of Broad Street.

To raise capital Maziars and Cowie are  using the fundraising website   Kickstarter.com.

Thirty Thousand dollars was the original goal which has already been reached. Cowie says now they want to raise 10 thousand dollars more .

If all goes as planned the Three Forks Bakery and Brewing Company will open this summer.  The will serve morning pastries,  pizza and artisan sourdough bread from a wood fired oven with soups and salads  and 9 beers on tap.
