Monaghan says the city of Grass Valley also declared an emergency after a sinkhole opened up this week off of Freeman Lane. The Town of Truckee has also declared an emergency after the storms. Also, Monaghan also says if you have a business or residence that has suffered damage and are uninsured or underinsured, you are asked to contact county staff. You may qualify for a Small Business Administration loan.
