Still No Positive ID on Body

A remains of a body  found on Burlington Ridge Road north of Nevada City, has still not been identified. Nevada County Chief Deputy Coroner Rich Fevinger says his office is still attempting to positively identify the human remains found inside a car. The car was registered to 74 year old Wilma Barnhart who was reported missing on July 7th.

The condition of the remains has made the identification of the body difficult. Sergeant Fevinger says he hope to make a positive identification later this week. The body had been at the location for a month. The Sheriff has said there is no information to indicate any foul play occurred.
