Stolen Bracelet Leads to an Arrest

Grass Valley Police have made an arrest in a Burglary that occurred last week at the Animal Save Thrift Store in the 500 block of East Main St.   Lt. Alex Gammelgard tells KNCO news the burglary occurred on September 16th shortly after 3 p.m.  A clerk at the store told officers that a woman, who was later identified at Christine Dalmau, had asked to look at a gold bracelet in a Jewelry display case.

Dalmau then left the store but the clerk was able to get some information.

Police were able to locate Dalmau at a residence in the Peardale area on Saturday and she was taken into custody for Commercial Burglary and her bail was set at $10,000.
The gold bracelet was valued at $785.  It has not been recovered.  Lt Gammelgard says police will be following up the investigation with area pawn shops to attempt to retrieve the bracelet.
