Stolen Cars Leaving and Showing Up In Grass Valley

A number of stolen cars from Grass Valley and a number of stolen cars discovered in Grass Valley has law enforcement concerned that a pattern of theft, delivery, and return transportation is taking place. Captain Rex Marks of the Grass Valley Police Department says almost all of the cars being stolen from Grass Valley have been left unlocked and unattended.

Marks says that the cars taken from the Grass Valley area are of higher quality than those that are being discovered in Grass Valley.

Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the thefts and the apparent transportation patterns in order to identify the theives.
Officer Marks reminds all residents to secure your vehicle, know where your vehicle is at all times, and keep the keys in your possession.
