Stolen I-Pad Recovered during Suspect Search

Grass Valley police responding to a report of a suspicious person outside a business were able to retrieve some stolen property and arrest a suspect . Grass Valley Police Lieutenant Alex Gammelgard says the call came in from a concerned citizen.

The officers found 24 year old Kyle Estes sitting on some stairs outside a business and made contact. He was found to be on search and seizure terms from a warrant out of Placer county, so the Officer conducted a search of Estes and the Backpack he had in his possession.

The I-pad had recently been reported stolen from the victims home. Estes was arrested for possession of the stolen property and for a small amount of methamphetamine that was found on his person.
