Investing in a LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System paid off for a Grass Valley man who’s car was stolen early Wednesday morning.

Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says officers resonded and were told the stolen vehicle was a white 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. The victim also provided the LoJack tracking information.

At about 7:30 a.m. a LoJack representative told police he had received a recent ping in the area of the 400 block of Bennett St. and Grass Valley officers who also have a LoJack receiver in their vehicle responded to the area. At that point they located the stolen vehicle along with three subjects in or around the vehicle .

The stolen Pontiac Grand Am was returned to the owner undamaged.
