Storm beginning to Affect Local Traffic Conditions

According to the California Highway Patrol the storm is beginning to impact area roadways. Trees falling across roadways are the big issue. Two calls coming in around 9:15.

Tassone reminds all drivers to be extra cautious during the next few days while the storm covers Nevada County.

Update: The trees have been cleared. The slides on Highway 49 were minimal and did not block traffic.
