Storm Forces School Closures in Nevada County

Storm Damage and flooding has forced several school districts to call for closures today. Most of the problems are in the South County, which really took a beating from the storms yesterday. The Pleasant Ridge School District, also Grizzly Hill School on the Ridge due to storm related conditions and a power outage. Nevada Joint Union High School district is calling a school closure for all of their high schools today except for Earl Jameson High School, because of weather conditions. Forest Charter School is closed. Grass Valley schools are open, and Sierra College is open today for student counseling sessions and appointments with student services.
