Stranded Hiker Rescued Nevada Co Wilderness

A camper was was stranded in a Nevada County wilderness area overnight over the weekend before being rescued. Sheriff Keith Royal says his department received a call Saturday evening about a missing man in the Emerald Pools area along the Yuba River, off Bowman Lake Road….

Royal says the man, identified as Antonio Rissone, injured his knee to the point where he was unable to make it back to his campground.
