Street of Dreams A Success

Friday night the Habitat for Humanities Street of Dreams took place at the Miner’s Foundry. The combination food and silent aution event raises money to help fund new housing that Habitat is buliding in Nevada County. One beneficiary of Habitat’s projects, Marteen Beals, the owner of Habitat House number 2, shares how the program has changed her families life.

Marteen was born and raised in Nevada County and over came multiple challenges to create a positive life for her family. The Beals family is a perect example of how Habitat for Humanity makes a difference for those in need that are willing to work hard to help themselves.
