Stress Management Workshop in Grass Valley

Stress can be one of the most debilitating factors effecting work performance. The Center for Nonprofit Leadership is hosting a workshop to help people learn how to manage stress and increase productivity. The half-day workshop, “Getting it Done: Achieve More with Less Stress”, is being offered this Friday February 1 by workshop facilitators Keith Porter and his daughter Chris Bennett.

Porter says the workshop will also focus on time management which can alleviate several stress related issues.

Often times people under stress turn to unhealthy practices such as substance abuse to manage stress. Porter and Bennett say the workshop will present more positive alternatives to managing stress.

The workshop is Friday February 1 from 8:30-12:30 at the United Methodist Church in Grass Valley. Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members.
