Buttron says one Captain was assigned to the Orleans incident near Happy Camp in Siskiyou County, and one engineer is still out on the Eclipse Fire in the Klamath National Forest. Buttron says he hopes that’s it for the season when it comes to deployments, but you just never know…

And there’s the Santa Ana winds in southern California. Buttron also notes that when personnel are deployed to other fires, there are still plenty of resources available should a fire break out at home.
