Students from France Visit Deer Creek School

Eighteen French Students who are 9 and 10 years old are in Nevada City for a two week visit.  Monica Daugherty, the Principal of Deer Creek school says a couple months ago a parent asked if they could host the students in the Deer Creek 4th grade class. With the classes so full already that wasn’t possible, but they did come up with another idea.

Local families have also volunteered to host the students and teachers during their stay in Nevada City. They will be heading home at the end of next week.
