2017 isn’t even halfway over yet, but the 2018 political season is underway…
Dan Miller, announcing that he will be running for a second term on the Nevada County Board of Supervisors. The election is just over a year-away, but he says mail-in ballots will be going out in March, so nine months isn’t really that far out. There are no challengers yet, but Miller says that will likely change soon…
Miller says there are many issues he wants to keep working on, including homelessness and others. In 2014, Miller was a challenger in the District Three race. This time he is an incumbent, which he says is definitely an advantage for him…
Miller has named his campaign manager and treasurer, and says he’ll have a campaign launch party in the next couple of weeks. Miller is not the earliest candidate to announce for the 2018 elections. Former Grass Valley Police Chief John Foster is running for sheriff next year, and Cliff Newell is running for another term as District Attorney.
