Supervisors Approve Marijuana Group; Add Two More

It will be a 16-member Community Advisory Group that will draft Nevada County’s medical marijuana cultivation ordinance instead of 14 as originally announced. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the group with the addition of two names. Don Bessee, who is outspoken against marijuana in the county was added, along with Richard Johansen with the Nevada County Farm Bureau, who would represent agricultural interests.
