Supervisors Approve Pay Raise

Nevada county Supervisors will be getting a pay raise that they say will bring their salary up to a comparable range with other similar sized county’s. Nevada County Human Resources director Charles Wilson presented the board with the ordinance at their meeting yesterday, amending salaries for Supervisors.

The board chose an option to increase the annual salary of a board member over three years.

The salaries of the Board of Supervisors were last adjusted in 2006 to the current level of $39,446. dollars and 41,419 dollars for the Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors. at the end of the three years of step increases the supervisors pay will be 51,111 annually and $53,667 annually for the Board Chair.
