Supervisors to Vote on Urgency Pot Ordinance

A draft of the proposal outlines the number of plants that would be allowed based on the acreage of a particular parcel, but grows also would not be allowed at all in more populated areas. The issue will be discussed at the afternoon session beginning at 1:30pm. County staff will give a presentation, and then public comment will be taken. Board members will be able to make changes to the current proposal, but Miller says there will be a vote. Four of the five supervisors must vote in favor of the urgency ordinance for the growing ban to be lifted.
