Suspect Accused of Embezzling From Tow Truck Company

A man who worked for a local tow truck company was arrested for allegedly embezzling from his employer over a period of time. Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says an officer was dispatched to the towing company Tuesday evening and began an investigation.

According to Gammelgard,  Moebus was contacted during the investigation and he admitted to stealing the money. In addition to the embezzlement charges, two firearm related charges were also filed.

Christopher Moebus was taken into custody for the felony embezzlement and misdemeanor gun charges.
